Robert Bateman High School Renovation and Conversion

Project Scope

• A comprehensive upgrade of building systems, tenant spaces and moderate envelope improvements across approximately 185,760 square feet, excluding the Burlington Centennial Pool.
• The renovated facility houses City of Burlington services, Brock University’s Burlington satellite campus, a Burlington Public Library branch, and the Halton District School Board’s Adult Education Program.
• The scope includes phased mechanical upgrades targeting a carbon-neutral site, along with demolition, hazardous material abatement, a new entrance, and new mechanical, ductwork and electrical systems.
• Portions of the building, including the Burlington Centennial Pool and the City’s Sign Department in the southwest corner, remained operational throughout construction.
