Project Scope

• A new 135,000 square foot, three-storey building providing 192 beds, with a focus on seniors’ care, accommodation and outreach programs for the region.
• The facility accommodates two 32-bed resident home areas per floor across three floors, supported by additional space in a partial basement.
• The design emphasizes resident well-being through extensive common areas in each home area, along with larger shared spaces that connect the individual home areas to the broader community and future development phases on site.
• A key feature of the design is the provision of private rooms for all residents. Standard bedrooms include a single bed, closet and ensuite washroom meeting current standards, while preferred bedrooms offer enhanced personal space, expanded closet storage and upgraded washroom amenities exceeding current design requirements.
